Adding a local folder allows FunFlixDroid to access videos and scripts stored directly on your Android device or SD card.
🚶♂️How to Add a Local Folder #
- From the Home screen, tap the Gallery button
- Tap Add Folder
- Choose Local Folder from the source type options
- Android’s folder picker will open
- Select the folder you want FunFlixDroid to scan
🔁 FunFlixDroid will recursively scan all subfolders inside the selected folder.
This means that all videos and scripts located in the folder and all of its subfolders will appear in the same source list.
🗂 Example #
If you choose the folder:
/storage/emulated/0/Videos
Which contains:
/Videos/PMV/
/Videos/CH/
Then all videos and scripts from Videos, PMV, and CH will appear under the single folder source “Videos”.
🧩 Want to Keep Subfolders Separated? #
If you want to browse folders like PMV and CH separately in FunFlixDroid:
👉 Add each one individually as a new Local Folder source.
