The VR Player is an early-stage built-in player in FunFlixDroid designed to test basic playback of VR videos. It currently renders the video in a monoscopic 360° view — this means it’s not yet intended for actual VR headset use (e.g. Cardboard or similar).
🎥 Current Features #
- ✅ Play 360° videos in monoscopic flat mode
- ✅ Look around using:
- 📱 Phone gyroscope
- 👉 Swipe gestures (drag to pan)
- 🔁 Script synchronization works like in other players
⚠️ Not Yet Supported #
- ❌ Stereoscopic 3D (no split view)
- ❌ VR headset compatibility (e.g. Cardboard, Quest)
- ❌ Spatial audio
- ❌ In-VR UI controls
🔬 This is an experimental player meant for simple panoramic viewing directly on your phone screen — not yet full VR.
