DeoVR Connect Player
DeoVR Connect syncs your toys with videos played in DeoVR. The video stays in DeoVR, and FunFlixDroid on your phone plays the script. It works like HereSphere Connect.
FunFlixDroid looks for the script matching the video’s file name in all your sources, so it must be in a FunFlixDroid folder, and named like the video. Both devices must be on the same local network.
In DeoVR
- Open the settings, with the gear icon at the top right of the selection scene or file browser.
- Turn on Enable remote control. On Windows, accept the firewall prompt.
- Start a video.
This follows DeoVR’s documentation, which says it uses TCP port 23554.
In FunFlixDroid
- On the Home tab, tap the button left of the player’s name and choose DeoVR Connect.
- Tap the settings button next to its name.
- Enter the IP address of the device running DeoVR, and port
23554. - Tap Save.
The chip next to the player’s name shows whether it is connected.
If it doesn’t sync
- Check the address. On a Meta Quest, it is in Quick Settings → Wi-Fi.
- A video must be playing in DeoVR.
- Connected but no script: check the script’s file name, then rescan the folder.
