How to Choose a Funscript Player for Android
The right funscript player for Android depends on your toy, where your videos are, and whether you want an app or a website. These are the questions that decide it, followed by the options I could check. I develop FunFlixDroid, so read this with that in mind and check the other projects’ pages.
What to check
- Your toy. Most players support Buttplug.io devices, but through different routes. Some need the Intiface Central app running next to them, others have the engine built in. The Handy is often handled separately, and sometimes only over WiFi.
- Where your videos are. Phone storage is common. SMB shares and web servers, for a NAS, are not.
- The scripts you have. A stroke script does nothing on a vibrating toy unless the player converts it.
- VR. Check whether the player renders VR itself, or follows a headset player such as HereSphere.
- Cost and distribution. Adult apps are rarely on Google Play, so expect an APK or a website.
The options
Checked on 5 November 2026, from each project’s own page. This list isn’t exhaustive, and these things change.

When FunFlixDroid fits
It suits you if your videos are on your phone or a NAS, you want to keep them in a library, and you want your toy to work without a second app. See the full feature list and check your toy.
It fits less well if you’d rather install nothing: a website-based player does that. FunFlixDroid also doesn’t provide any videos or scripts: you bring your own.
